The County of Fairfax, Virginia, Department of Public Works, and Environmental Services (DPWES) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from engineering consulting firms to provide engineering services and services during construction for full replacement of a 4 million gallons per day (MGD) with potential future capacity of 6 MGD sanitary sewer Dead Run Pump Station. These services will include but not be limited to, project management, quality control and health and safety plans, flow analysis, modeling analysis, surge analysis, condition assessment, alternative analysis, preliminary engineering, detailed design, pump station, force main and influent sewer, plans and specifications, sustainable design, connection details, surveying, geotechnical, value engineering, public outreach, agency coordination, acquisition of all permits, phased construction, cost estimating, construction scheduling, site inspections, and emergency backup and spill response plan, temporary and permanent easement plats, and traffic control plans.
