Project Description: 1. Base Bid ñ Scope of work includes installation of a roof recovery / overlay system over the existing roof in place with a mechanically attached TPO roof membrane. All new sheet metal items associated with the installation of the new roof assembly will be required. Areas indicated to have wet roof insulation on roof plan drawings will be removed. This quantity is included in the unit prices to be included in the bid provided. 2. Alternate No. 1 ñ Scope of work includes installation of a roof recovery / overlay system over the existing roof in place with a mechanically attached PVC / KEE roof membrane. All new sheet metal items associated with the installation of the new roof assembly will be required. Areas indicated to have wet roof insulation on roof plan drawings will be removed. This quantity is included in the unit prices to be included in the bid provided. 3. Alternate No. 2 ñ Scope of work includes complete roof replacement of the existing roof system. Roof replacement includes deck replacement / repairs, installation of a new roof insulation, including taper insulation, and a mechanically attached PVC / KEE roof membrane. All new sheet metal items associated with the installation of the new roof assembly will be required.
