1. Excavation to be centered in concrete surface, adjacent to the construction Joint 2. Existing surface to be sawcut 3. Bottom of excavation to be compacted 4. Once Granite Monument is installed, backfill (3/8” minus)/Compact 5. Install Expansion Joint material around monument and install/replace 4” thick concrete surface 6. Install non-shrink grout around Monument 7. Install City Seal Sign on Monument 8. Repair all disturbed areas, cleanup and leave area as was prior to work 9. Police Detail Cost Inclusion: o The Contractor must allocate $1,100 in their total bid price to cover the cost of Police Detail for the duration of the project • This total is based on an estimated two Police Details, each working 8 Hours at a rate of $66 per hour o If the actual Police Detail cost differs from this estimate, a change order will be issued to adjust the amount accordingly
