At Riverbanks Zoo and Gardens, we continue to make improvements to the facility for enhancing the guest experience. This scope of work includes the pouring of a 50’ x 60’ concrete pad for construction of our Sky Tykes course. The concrete pad shall be, at minimum, 5 inches thick with a 6x6 W1.4x1.4 WWR welded mesh. The concrete pad shall be four feet from the sidewalk. The contractor shall be responsible for cutting trees and clearing out the area for the concrete pad. The contractor is responsible for any dirt back fill to make the pad level with the ground. Two 2-inch conduits shall be installed underground for power and fiber runs. The Zoo will be responsible for pulling the fiber runs. A 6’ x 8’ storage shed shall be constructed in the back right corner (as shown on drawing) of the concrete pad. The shed shall have a gambrel roof. The shed shall have a ramp leading into the building. The door to the shed shall be 6’ tall. The contractor shall install five (5) LED lights on 6’x 6’ posts as noted by orange dots on the drawing. The posts shall be 12 feet tall. The LED lights shall be Lithonia Lighting, ESXF LED floodlight or equal. There shall be seven (7) outlets installed around the perimeter of the concrete pad, noted by the red circles. Six (6) fans (blue dots) shall be installed per the drawings. The fans shall be Dayton, 24-inch blade diameter, standard duty industrial fans that are wall mountable. The outlet and fan next to the storage shed, with no light post, shall be mounted to the shed.
