This Invitation for Bids (IFB) is issued to procure the goods or services, as specified in this Section 2, from a contract between the successful bidder(s) and the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE), Land and Material Administration. MDE is requesting Price Bids from qualified contractors to provide Buffalo 422 Pumping Maintenance Contract. The contract work shall consist of the following: • Upgrading the existing access roads as needed on site to complete any work for this project. • The installation of water bar along the access road to the doser. • The removal of sediment and repair of the existing doser inflow and outflow flume. • The burial of the existing schedule 80 PVC pipe reusing as much of the existing pipe as possible while replacing all fittings and valves. • The existing pump building shall be relocated to have hookups inside the building. • Clean the existing pumping sludge pond and dispose of the material at the designated location on site. • Install an access gate at the designated location. • The revegetation of all disturbed areas upon completion of work
