The criteria below MAY be used by the Committee when reviewing applications, but the Committee reserves the right to add additional criteria at any time: • Estimated response times for all areas of the county including how the applicant calculated the response times, its deployment strategies, and proposals for a first responder program or options to improve service. • Employer/employee relationships including its employee satisfaction, morale, retention, health and safety, turnover rates, vacancy rates, staffing models, and staffing plans. • Equipment and facilities including the types of vehicles, replacement schedule, maintenance available for this service area, facilities for provision of services, and the medical equipment and capability of each vehicle. • Price/billing for Lee County citizens and visitors. • Ideas for expansion and growth of the EMS system in the next 3-5 years including employee relations and vehicle response times for outer areas of the unincorporated areas.
