The Division of Information Systems seeks to purchase additional bandwidth and lower agency’s cost per unit of bandwidth. The current contracts from bid SP-18-0098 are ending in fiscal year 2025. With determination of award of this IFB, DIS will set rates that include the awarded Contractor’s site and aggregation costs plus a decimal portion of the existing State backbone costs. Once the rates have been established, the agencies will make a determination of bandwidth to be ordered by balancing the bandwidth needed for their services along with their budget available. DIS will dispatch a technician to work with the DIS Network Operations Center (NOC) to complete any site router changes and turn up the new service. All monitoring programs will be updated to now show the new network service. DIS will then issue a service order to the previous Contractor to disconnect the old service effective the day of order issuance.
