1. Asbestos Testing: o All asbestos testing reports for this project are available for inspection. No asbestos was found in earlier inspections conducted by the Madison County Sheriffs Office. 2. Demolition and Removal: o Dernolition and haul-off of the 2-story brick building located at I 524 Westover Road, Jackson, TN 38305, (further identified in addendum A as the building marked with a red rectangle) including all joisted masonry, footings, foundation, concrete walkways, HVAC units, stairs, and any other attached mechanisms. o Complete ranoval of all items within the desigrated scope, ensuring that nothing remains in the area except raw ground. 3. Utility Services: o Coordinate all utility services (electric, gas, water, sewer) disconnection from the 2-Story Building with local utility service providers. o Ensure that the used and occupied portion of the facility maintains electric, gas, water, and sewer services, except for intermittent short periods when absolutely necessary. o Immediate notification to the Madison County Sheriffs Office is required if any of these services are disrupted. 4. Site Restoration and Preparation: o Removal of all awnings and accessories attached to the designated dernolished building. o Backfill using clean fill dirt, topsoil, and final layerof33C rock. o Ensure that the final project location is contoured to match the surrounding land, minimizing future erosion. o Final grading must result in a smooth and level surface. o The site shall be prepped and ready for the construction of a new facility atop it. The new facility will be built on a concrete slab. 5. Safety & Compliance: o Follow all OSHA/TOSHA regulations to ensure public safety. o The bidder is responsible for any and all damages done to County property while completing the proj ect. 6. Bid & Completion Timeline: o Bid prices shall rernain valid for acceptance until June 2025. o The awarded contraclor must complete the project within a two-month window after the bid is awarded. 7. Project Management: o The bidder must provide a sole prqiect manager or site supervisor to oversee the job and maintain regular communication with Madison County Sheriffs OfIice staff. o The bidder must guarantee that all services will be provided as outlined in this request, at the bid price submitted.
