The SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (SCDOT) requests a letter of interest and a current resume of qualifications from all interested consulting firms familiar with performing Construction Claims Assistant Support Services. Requested services include but are not limited to forensic schedule analysis, evaluation of claims, analysis of costs and risk assessment. Each Consultant will provide services that conform to current state policy and practice. Selected firms cannot assist Contractors and other parties with claims against the SCDOT. This requirement will be in effect until one year following the completion of this contract and for as long as the claim(s) is unresolved for those specific contractor and other related parties on the claims the firms were assisting SCDOT on and for 1 year thereafter. All firm employees, involved with claims, are individually bound to these terms regardless of their future employment. These services may include but may not be limited to the services to perform delay and damages analysis, forensic schedule analysis, measurement of cost impacts, risk assessments, serve as expert witness, and provide guidance for mitigation and avoidance of claims.
