A. The contractor shall provide, assemble, install, test, implement, make operational the equipment necessary for conducting 16 CFR 1633 Open Flame Mattress testing. The contractor shall ensure that any parts which are intended to be reused from the current system (i.e. duct and hood) are compatible with the new system. B. The contractor shall train staff on how to operate the system. C. The contractor shall provide a computer and monitor capable of running the new equipment. The computer shall also come preinstalled with all applications and operating systems needed to run the new equipment. D. The contactor shall provide the Bureau with a service plan to maintain the equipment. E. If necessary, the contractor shall provide the Bureau with a calibration contract for the different parts of the system. F. If not included in base price of quote, the contractor shall provide the Bureau with custom software which can track and record the two target limits of: maximum heat release rate (HHR) from specimen and the total heat release (THR) during the time of testing. G. The contractor shall provide any and all tools, equipment, and consumables necessary for installation, shipping, and delivery of the purchased equipment (i.e. wires, connectors, tubing, seals, etc.) H. Equipment purchased 1. The Equipment/deliverables purchased shall consist of: a. Oxygen Depletion Calorimeter Heat Release Measurement System Instrumentation: i. Gas Sampling System with: a) Soot Filter b) Sorbents c) Flow Controls d) Sample Pump e) Electronic gas chiller system for removing excess moisture ii. Gas Analysis Console a) O2 Analyzer: 1) With a range of 0-25% O2 2) With an accuracy of ±0.01% b) CO Analyzer 1) With a range of 0-10% CO 2) With an accuracy of ±0.001% c) CO2 Analyzer 1) With a range of 0-10% CO2 2) With an accuracy of ±0.01% NOTE: Instruments that can provide comparable measurement results to those listed above will be considered suitable. iii. Differential pressure transducer iv. Data Acquisition hardware: a) Data acquisition interface with isolated digital inputs, digital outputs, and analog input/output channels. b) Hardware required for fast data acquisition scanning, accurate collection and recording of test data. c) Computer which will control and record the measurement system. Compatible with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
