a) The selected contractor will be responsible for locating all underground utilities to ensure none will be damaged, should any excavation work be required; b) Water service lines from the meter to the house should be unclogged and totally free of any debris; c) Leaking water lines are to be repaired to proper working order; d) Irrigation systems shall be repaired to like or better condition than previously existed; e) Fixtures, such as faucets, will be repaired when necessary. However, if fixtures are broken beyond repair, they are to be replaced by the Contractor; f) The contractor should be able to unclog various types of drains and pipes; g) Contractor may be asked to install new water lines from BWWB’s taps to private property owners’ plumbing; h) The Contractor shall be responsible for repairing the flush hydrant systems (hydro guard and sample stations), which will be repaired by cutting and replacing concrete to reach the underground leak in the line i) The contractor is responsible for following proper personal and property safety measures as provided by BWWB whenever performing services on behalf of BWWB. j) The contractor will service callbacks at NO CHARGE to BWWB if they are directly related to the original repair.
