1. Fluid milk and milk products shall be manufactured and packaged as defined in the state regulations governing the productions and sale of milk and milk products as published by the Illinois State Board of Health. Milk and milk products shall be pasteurized, homogenized and vitamin fortified. Milk supplied to the school shall be: a. 1% white milk served in ½ pint cartons b. Fat-free chocolate flavored milk, served in ½ pint cartons c. Other fat-free flavored milks, served in ½ pint cartons 2. Cartons are to be sealed and plastic coated. 3. Affidavit stating the butter fat content, vitamin enrichment, and any other additives such as milk solids must be supplied with the bid submission. Failure to provide this nutritional analysis may result in disqualification or non-consideration of bids. 4. Each school has its own cooler, which is the property of Community Consolidated School District 15. Master locks and keys are furnished for the equipment by the Director of Nutrition Services. 5. All but four (4) schools will be served before 7:00 A.M. All schedules MUST BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO so that there is no interference with the routine of the building personnel and students.
