The City of Casa Grande requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide preconstruction services and complete construction services as the CMAR for the City’s planned TREKELL RD RELIEF SEWER CONSTRUCTION PROJECT in the City of Casa Grande, Arizona. Based on the City’s master planning model the existing Trekell Road 12” gravity sewer interceptor from Cottonwood Lane to Kortsen Road and the existing Trekell Road 15” gravity sewer from Rodeo Road to Kortsen Road are nearing capacity. Improvements to both facilities are necessary to ensure the necessary capacity for existing and future needs. During the pre-construction phase services by the CMAR may, at a minimum, be required to: 1. Work with the design team in the development of final design plans and quantities, including providing suggestions or recommendations for value engineering and other potential cost-savings opportunities. 2. Develop a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) to perform the work identified in the plans developed by the project design team. Note: This project is likely to be multiphased, therefore multiple GMPs will need to be developed throughout the project. 3. Identify any long-lead items required 4. Provide a conceptual schedule for the project, primarily the construction phase.
