Scope of Work: 1. Remove existing good window panes and save for Austin Peay. 2. All saved window panes will need to be delivered to APSU’s off campus warehouse by contractor. 10 sets. All others to be disposed. 3. New windows to be installed shall be all aluminum double hung windows. Sill to have main wall thickness of 0.078 or greater. Jambs, heads and mullions shall have main wall thickness of 0.062 or greater. 4. Frame depth shall be a minimum of 3 ¼ “. 5. Windows should be double pane double hung with interior grid (flat type) and tilt in for cleaning purposes. Colonial pattern or match building 600. 6. All new windows must be caulked with 100 percent silicone caulking. (white in color) 7. Window trim will be white in color. 8. Upon completion, apply a final bead of exterior caulk where brick mold meets wall. 9. Contractor will need to furnish at least a 10 year window warranty. 10. Windows must be of 7/8” dual pane insulated glass. 11. Contractor is responsible for securing the work site daily as well as cleaning of job site daily. No debris shall be left unattended and shall be removed daily. 12. Contractor shall furnish a one year installation warranty on labor. 13. Top and bottom sashes tilt for easy cleaning. 14. Window locks shall be flush with unit when in unlocked/locked position. 15. Contractor to remove and reinstall blinds upon completion of job. 16. Contractor shall submit window sample to be used during bid. 17. Dates of work: May 19, 2025- July 30th, 2025.
