CONTRACTED TRANSPORTATION FLEET 2.5.1 Contracted Fleet: The School District currently contracts 63 school buses and 18 vans (the “Transportation Fleet”). The School District contracts all of its vehicles in the Transportation Fleet. Attachment X is where the contractor should provide information about each proposed vehicle in their Transportation Fleet as it pertains to this RFP. 2.5.1.1 Communications Systems System: The School District utilizes two-way radios. 2.5.1.2 Camera (Video) / Audio Equipment: (Updated technology required) • Camera Equipment - ALL buses will be required to have a 3-camera video and audio recording system during the length of this Agreement. The cameras must be positioned as follows: o (1) in front of the bus facing backwards o (1) in back of the bus facing forwards o (1) above the driver facing the front door • The expense for the camera (video) and audio equipment will be the exclusive responsibility of the Contractor. • All vans will be required to have a minimum of (1) camera (audio and video included) – audio must have recording capabilities 2.5.1.3 Two-Way Radios: All vehicles, including spares, regularly assigned to the School District’s transportation program under the Contract shall contain District supplied twoway radios, Kenwood NX-3820HGK-TR 45-watt mobile radio with power cable, mounting bracket, hardware, microphone, mic clip, L-5053 tuning and programming. The two-way communication system will be utilizing a digital trunking system (NXDN). The need for additional radios will be determined by the District and paid for by the District.
