In general, the work will include, but is not limited to, building exterior components, masonry and/or building façades, doors, windows, skylights, roofing, caulking, waterproofing, masonry repair and repointing, and miscellaneous related work to the buildings. A few of the College’s exterior building envelopes are well beyond their useful life and require replacement and/or reconstruction to maintain a safe working environment for the building occupants and to preserve the buildings. See the Appendix included herein for reference. This Term Agreement will include the survey and analysis of existing conditions, drainage systems, roof top equipment, mechanical, electrical, and structural modifications to roof top equipment to accommodate the new roof system, code compliance (including any required variance applications to the State Department for Energy Code Compliance if needed) and structural remediation, if necessary: a. Removal and replacement of the existing roof systems, including and not limited to Kittinger Hall, Gleasner Hall and Nunan Maintenance Building. Evaluate other long term warranty options including a reinforced restoration system and retrofit roof system options. b. Removal and replacement of the existing fiber-reinforced insulated translucent sandwich panel daylighting system at Burt Flickinger Athletic Center. c. Other roof replacement and exterior waterproofing work as necessary.
