Provide specialized medical care in podiatry to referred patients of SBH. Examine, diagnose, evaluate, and treat acute and chronic foot ailments by palliative reduction, surgery, orthopedic methods, topical medications, antibiotics, or therapeutic shoes. Contractor will follow all required SBH, State and Federal policies requiring patient treatment documentation. Contractor must complete credentialing and privileging procedures in accordance with SBH medical Staff By-laws. Contractor must maintain unrestricted licensure in the State of Ohio. Contractor must participate in Quality Assurance/Process Improvement process. Contractor must adhere to SBH rules & regulations, Performance Standards, applicable JCAHO, and Medicare (CMS) conditions of participation and the Medical Department’s continuous quality improvement plan. Contractor is covered by the limits and provisions identified in Section 9.86, 9.87 and 109.361 of the Ohio Revised Code of Civil immunity, identification, and representation.,
