The City of Columbus Water Division has a need for two (2) light vehicle tire changer. This request is for the purchase, installation and training of a new, unused, and complete most current model light duty tire changer. The specifications describe the minimum acceptable requirements which a bidder has to meet. The following features are required: The machines shall meet or exceed the specifications of a Hunter model TCA34R. The machines shall require a 208/230V 20amp single phase power supply. The machines shall have self-inserting, polymer lever less head The machines shall have center clamping type with quick clamp and cam plate. The machines shall have telescoping capabilities to accurately bring wheel into position. The machines shall be supplied with all the standard accessories to aid with demounting and mounting a light vehicle wheel and tire assemblies. The machines shall be supplied with accessories to aid with mounting and dismounting larger wheels and tires, 19.5 tires, Golf Cart, ATV, and Motorcycle tires. The machines shall include upper and lower bead loosing rollers The machines shall include wheel lift affixed to the machine to eliminate manual loading of wheel assemblies. The machines shall have conveniently located controls to reduce to need for bending over at the waist.
