The City of Austin seeks to establish a contract with a qualified contractor(s) for roofing, preventive and general maintenance, repair services, inspections, and associated parts. Roofing services will vary depending on the type of materials of existing roof areas to be repaired. Roof types that may require roofing services include but are not limited to: • Asphalt composition shingle (all types) • Fiber-cement roof components (shingle, shake, slate, tile) • Clay tile (flat, “S” mission barrel, straight barrel, etc.) • Metal (standing seam, M panels, R panels, etc.) • Wood (shingles or shake) • Built-up (asphalt, coat-tar, modified) • Other (EPDM, PVC, single ply). Services provided shall support over 400 City-owned facilities varying in size on an as-needed basis;
