The new Police Station for the City of Ardmore, Oklahoma will be located directly south of the existing combined City Hall and Police Station at the greenfield site at 301 1st Ave SW Ardmore, OK 73401. The project site area is approximately 2.2 acres. This facility will consist of Administration Offices, Locker Rooms, Patrol Briefing Room, a 30-Person Training Classroom, Dispatch, Records, Detectives Suite with Interview Rooms, Crime Scene Investigation Lab and Processing Bay, Armory, an ICC 500 Storm Shelter, and additional support spaces. The two-story building totals approximately 28,000 square feet. The structure consists of steel beams and columns on piers. Exterior finishes include aluminum and glass curtain wall and storefront, brick and stone veneer, and metal panels. The focal point of the new facility is its two-story glass entry space and the open stair that connects the public lobby on the first floor with the training classroom and waiting area on the second floor. It is the intention for construction to begin Summer 2025 and achieve substantial completion within 18 months. The Estimate of the Value of Construction of this Project is approximately $13M-$14M. The project may include additive and/or deductive alternates.
