1. Six altitude valves 2. Three low lift gate valves a) Isolate valve under direction of plant staff. b) One valve will be serviced per day. c) This work may be performed at night or weekends at the direction of plant management. The possibility of overtime must be accounted for in this bid. d) Open inspection ports and use close caption camera equipment to inspect the seat and gate. e) Using a pressure washer with right angle nozzle wash out valve seat. f) Reinspect with camera and allow for plant management to view. g) Repeat until seat is fully clear of debris and/or sand and mud. h) Grease valve stem, adjust packing and inspect operator. 3. One single acting altitude valve a) Remove all verdigris from the piston and liner walls. b) Remove all foreign matter from with in the valve. c) Lubricate the piton and liner with food grade waterproof grease. d) Dismantle, clean, lubricate the three-way pilot assembly with food grade waterproof grease, clean the strainer cap, and reassemble. Clean the “Y” strainer in the power water line. 4. One swing check valve a) Check packing around the gland for leakage, tighten gland bolts if leakage is in excess of manufacturers recommendations. b) Inspect the setscrews and position of the counterweights & counterweight arms. 5. One pressure reducing valve The contractor shall disassemble, clean, install new leathers, install a new replaceable seat, and lubricate the required internals with food grade waterproof grease as per the manufactures recommendations for the 20” pressure reducing valve at the filtration plant.
