The water meters shall require little- to no- programming for installation. The water meters shall be a radio frequency meter interface unit with ‘walk-by’ mobile readability. The water meters shall have the capability to collect metering data and monitor flow direction, all while transmitting information back and forth among walk-by, mobile, and fixed network readings without being on site or reprograming. The water meters shall also enable the utility to view an account’s consumption by the hour, maintain at least 96 days of profile information, receive alerts for leaks and backflows, and detect ultra-low flows. The meters must be compatible with Frey Municipal Software, in addition to Neptune 360 radio read software. The units of measurement provided by the water meter shall include U.S. Gallons, Cubic Feet, Imperial Gallons, and Cubic Metres.
