3.1 Scope of Work The City seeks to engage in a professional service contract for structural engineering and plan review. These services will be utilized primarily for the Seismic Retrofit Program, but may also include general plan check review services or structural engineering consulting service, as needed. Examples of services include, but are not limited to: A. Plan Check Services 1. Review and evaluate construction plans submitted to the City. 2. Verify a project’s submission conforms to applicable State and local codes. 3. Verify pertinent City policies and guidelines are satisfied. 4.
