The County is developing a new community located in the City of Half Moon Bay (the “City”) called Stone Pine Cove, that will consist of forty-seven (47) manufactured homes on a 5-acre site located at 830 Stone Pine Road in Half Moon Bay, CA 94019 (the “Project”). The Project will provide low-income, agricultural worker households affordable homeownership opportunities in 1–3-bedroom manufactured homes. Residents will purchase their manufactured home through a County program and residents will then lease their space, paying a monthly space/lot rent. The site is currently owned by the City and will transfer its interest in the property to the County in the Spring of 2025, pursuant to a Memorandum of Understanding. Construction began in May 2024 and is slated for completion in early summer 2025. The County plans to fund the development through numerous public and private sources including the County’s Measure K fund and California Department of Housing and Community Development’s Joe Serna Homeownership, Jr. Farmworkers Housing Grant Program.
