The anticipated scope of services may include: Site Planning (Research/ Analysis), e.g.: • collecting and reviewing relevant data including: past planning documents, as-builts, topographic-surveys, utility and ROW information, adjacent parcel information, cultural resource studies, historical documentation, soils reports, vegetation surveys, applicable local/ regional standards, codes, ordinances, and all other pertinent information to fully map and understand existing conditions; • developing site analysis diagrams (e.g. sun/shade patterns, existing connections and site access, hydrology); and/or, • identifying opportunities and constraints based on potential programming or stated project goals. Community Engagement, e.g.: • developing surveys or activities to meaningfully engage community members of all ages and abilities in the design process; • hosting and facilitating virtual, in-person, or hybrid public meetings or other events to assess ideas and preferences for potential park amenities, communicate concepts, or present options; • developing graphics for said outreach; • analyzing feedback to clarify community priorities; • demonstrating how community feedback has shaped the design process; and/or, • communicating design options to diverse audiences in an engaging and publicly-accessible format...
