The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified proposers with experience and expertise in custodial services to provide such services to maintain the property portfolio overseen by California State University San Marcos Corporation (CSUSM Corporation). CSUSM Corporation is responsible for upkeep and maintenance of the Extended Learning Building, with 135,000 square feet of academic/office space, and the associated Parking Structure 2 with 220,000 square feet. Contractor will provide all supervision, labor, materials and equipment for first, second, and third shift custodial services in the spaces designated by CSUSM Corporation. The successful bidder will utilize an electronic janitorial inspection software or Quality Assurance Program such as Orange QC or similar to ensure proper adherence to the specifications. Contractor shall ensure that all chemicals and/or hazardous substances used in the course of their work comply with all relevant CSUSM requirements, including Safety, Health & Sustainability protocols. Contractor shall make Material Safety Data Sheets for all chemicals used available to CSUSM Corporation upon request.
