The District desires DBEs with extensive experience with the California Building Standards Code, Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations, and the Division of the State Architect (“DSA”), and regulations and processes applicable to California Community College construction projects. DBEs must have extensive experience: in the design and construction of improvements for community college facilities or—at minimum—public entities, working with community college district representatives and other school facility related consultants, establishing project scope, project budgets, and bidding procedures under both the Public Contract Code’s formal bidding process and under alternative construction delivery methods (e.g., design-build, leaseleaseback, etc.).
