• Remove (E) playground bark • Remove existing play equipment and footings. • Demo approximately 6’ of existing curb • Demo ramp into bark area. • Demo approx. 36’ s.f. of sidewalk leading to play area. • Prep for install of poured in place material, to include excavating to required depth for poured in pace safety surfacing. (Existing Bark is approximately 3” - 6” deep.) • Modify (E) 4’ fence opening to accommodate new 5’ wide walkway. • Haul away any and all demolished equipment and materials. If the district elects to keep excavated dirt, load and deliver to district selected location (within 10 miles of site) • Install new curb where existing curb was removed. • Install a 5’ wide by approximately 12’ long sidewalk from building walkway to play pit. • Provide and install approx. 2576 sf of compacted base rock for PIP surfacing. • Provide and install Poured in Place Safety Surfacing (GTImpax, FlexGround or owner approved equal) o Must account for a 4’ fall height o Color mix of 50% green/50% black and 50% blue/50% black o Include a simple design 2/3 black/green and 1/3 black/blue, as shown on attached renderings • Install new play equipment as shown on renderings and manufacturer materials.
