This work includes the provision of labor, material, equipment, supervision and administration to integrate the work outlined in these specifications into the total building system such that no leakage into the system occurs. In general, the scope of work in the Base Bid includes: 1. Low Slope Roof Replacement - Roof Areas 1 and 2: a. Remove and dispose of the roof system including flashings and sheet metal down to the concrete deck. b. Provide vapor retarder. c. Provide 2" Roof Insulation adhered in foam adhesive. d. Provide Tapered Insulation System adhered in foam adhesive. e. Provide Cover Board adhered in foam adhesive. f. Fully adhere thermoplastic single ply membrane along with flashings and accessories. g. Replace sheet metal flashings and trim. h. Provide a complete, watertight, 20-year warrantable roof assembly. 2. Low Slope Roof Replacement - Roof Area 3: a. Remove and dispose of the roof system including flashings and sheet metal down to the concrete deck. b. Provide vapor retarder. c. Provide Tapered Insulation System adhered in foam adhesive. d. Provide a complete, watertight, 20-year warrantable roof assembly. 3. Low Slope Roof Replacement - Roof Areas 4, 5 and 6: a. Remove and dispose of the roof system including flashings and sheet metal down to the plywood deck. b. Provide red rosin paper. c. Provide 2" Roof Insulation mechanically attached. d. Provide Tapered Insulation System adhered in foam adhesive. e. Provide Cover Board adhered in foam adhesive. f. Fully adhere thermoplastic single ply membrane along with flashings and accessories.Replace sheet metal flashings and trim.Provide a complete, watertight, 20-year warrantable roof assembly. g. Replace sheet metal flashings and trim. h. Provide a complete, watertight, 20-year warrantable roof assembly. 4. Exterior Wall Restoration: a. Replace elastomeric joint sealants where indicated in Contract Drawings. b. Repoint masonry mortar joints where indicated in Contract Drawings and in accordance with Unit Prices and Allowances. c. Prepare prime and paint exterior, interior and sides of exterior doors and frames. d. Replace damaged masonry units where indicated in Contract Drawings. e. Miscellaneous exterior wall repairs as indicated in Contract Drawings.
