The goal of the project is to properly plug five oil wells and one salt water disposal well in accordance with the South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources oil and gas well plugging requirements outlined in ARSD 74:12:03. Below are well specific plugging requirements for the wells. 3.2 Plugging Requirements for the Ozark 3 Coffing salt water disposal well (API 40 033 05113): 3.2.1 Unseat packer and pull tubing and packer from well. 3.2.2 Set cast iron cement retainer (CICR) at 1,350 feet and pump 20 sacks of cement through CICR and spot 10 sacks of cement on top of CICR. 3.2.3 Perforate at 1,058 feet, set CICR at 1,008 feet and pump 20 sacks cement through CICR and spot 10 sacks on top of CICR. 3.2.4 Perforate at 157 feet, circulate cement down 5 1/2” casing through perforations with returns to the surface in the 8 5/8” and 5 1/2" annulus. 3.2.5 Cut casings off four (4) feet below ground level. Weld on plate with weep hole, inscribe well location information on plate. 3.2.6 Reclaim the well site in accordance with state reclamation requirements found in ARSD 74:12:03:06. 3.2.7 Fluid between cement plugs must be packer fluid. 3.2.8 Cement volumes are based on cement with 1.15 cubic feet per sack yield. Volumes must be adjusted accordingly if cement with a different yield is used.
