The Montrose County School District (MCSD) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the replacement of asphalt roofing materials at multiple school locations. The selected contractor will be responsible for measuring square footage, procuring materials, removing existing roof materials to the wood sheathing, disposing of all materials and installing new specified materials. (may have to replace some sheathing in places as well as facia trim); The project will cover the following schools: • Cottonwood Elementary School (CES) • Johnson Elementary School (JES) • Northside Elementary School (NES) • Olathe Elementary School (OES) • Oak Grove Elementary School (OGES); The scope of work includes: • Removal and disposal of existing roofing materials per local regulations. • Installation of 25-year commercial warranted asphalt product plus all required. underlayment and the replacement of any unserviceable roof sheathing and or facia trim. • Roof sheathing preparation and repairs (billed on a time and materials basis). • Proper transitions and trims as needed. • Final cleaning and inspection of the job sites. MCSD will make final color selections for all new products.
