• Slope of accessible routes (AR) exceed 2.08% • Running slope of ARs exceed 5% • Slope in existing accessible spaces exceed 2.08% • Signs at parking stalls do not conform to R7-9 requirements and are note mounted at the minimum 60” height to the bottom • Tree root damage in pavement • Deficiencies in accessible to non-accessible parking and van space ratios Corrective Measures: • Replacing asphalt spaces, isles and accessible route (AR) with concrete • Slope of new spaces and isles, including construction tolerances, not to exceed 2.08% in any direction • Adding new accessible car and van spaces to correct parking space ratio and adding AR where applicable • Adding and correcting slope on existing ARs from parking to restrooms/shelters/park features • Adding handrails to AR where necessary if engineering cannot accomplish the correct slope • Correcting slope in all direction on existing concrete where applicable (i.e. grinding down lips/trip hazards) Electric Vehicle Feasibility Assessment and Applicable Design Integration in Parking Layouts • Assess the feasibility of adding electric vehicle charging stations in existing parking lots at both parks • Coordinate with Dominion on power for electric vehicle capacity, if necessary • If feasible, incorporate in parking lot design
