The City of Brentwood, Missouri, is seeking an innovative partner in the form of a professional development team or consultant (the “Consultant”) to redevelop the site on Brentwood Boulevard that currently consists of city hall, a post office branch, and four adjacent lots. The city would like to reimagine its civic center, expand its capacity to house the police department, replace the outdated post office facility, and reinvigorate the area by a creative marriage of civic and retail activity in a mixed- use development. Key Goals: Reimagine Civic Center: Modernize or replace the existing city hall to better serve the community. Create a dynamic public space that offers opportunities for interaction, such as a town square, park, or open-air space. Expand Police Department Capacity: Integrate a larger and more modern police station into the development. Ensure that the new space can meet current and future needs for public safety. Replace the Post Office Facility: Develop a new, modern post office that better serves the community while also blending with the surrounding development. Consider adding retail or service options in the same area to create a more convenient experience for residents.
