The construction a replacement 7.5- million-gallon (MG) wire-wound prestressed concrete ground storage tank and associated components and yard piping for the Wurzbach Ground Storage Tank No. 1 Replacement Project. • Demolition of existing 7.5 million-gallon (MG) steel tank including foundation, tank appurtenances, and electrical wiring/conduit and components. • Demolition of existing 27-inch overflow piping, 30-inch piping, 48-inch inlet piping and both 48-inch outlets piping, valves, and existing concrete overflow structure. • Site preparation, excavation, select fill, and other earthwork related to the ground storage tank foundation, electrical and instrumentation improvements, and yard piping backfilling. • New yard piping including tank inlet and outlet, tank overflow/drain, and associated fittings, valves, and cathodic protection measures. • Construction of a new 7.5 MG wire-wound pre-stressed concrete ground storage tank with steel diagram AWWA D110 Type III and associated tank accessories. • Miscellaneous electrical, instrumentation, and controls (I&C) system improvements as it relates to the new ground storage tank. • Tree pruning, removal, or protection as indicated on the drawings and any associated permits. • Site/civil improvements such as grading, drainage, and associated site restoration work.
