Barren River State Park in Lucas KY seeks a source to provide and deliver two complete identical sets of golf course green covers, stakes, and storage bags for the 20 golf greens (18 course greens plus practice green and nursery green) at the golf course (40 total covers and 40 bags). Kentucky State Parks personnel estimate that a maximum total of 135,000 square feet of finished product will be needed to produce each set (270,000 square feet total for the two sets). See Attachment C for the measurements of each individual area requiring a cover. 1. (40) rectilinear and permeable green covers, each specifically dimensioned to fully cover a designated green with a minimum overlap of 24 inches from the edge of the green. (Overlap is included in the measurements provided in Attachment C.) 2. (40) bags specifically made to contain and store a specific green cover. 3. One stake for each attachment point per cover for each of the FIRST set of covers and an additional 8 stakes for each of the SECOND matching covers. MATERIALS: COVERS: 1. Must be black in color and a minimum of 92% polypropylene and contain UV protectant. 2. Handles must be on each side of all corners and no further than 4 feet apart on all sides with one additional tie down on each of the four corners. Both sets of identical covers must have handles and tie down points located in the same spots on each matching cover to allow for one stake to secure two tiedown points with one stake when deploying both covers at the same time...
