Crack Filling: • Clean all cracks (¼” or larger) using compressed air and/or mechanical wire brushes to remove dirt, debris, and vegetation. • Fill cracks using a hot-pour rubberized crack filler conforming to ASTM D6690 Type II or equivalent. • Ensure material is applied evenly, flush with the pavement surface, and does not pose a tripping hazard. Seal Coating: • Clean asphalt surface thoroughly using blowers or sweepers to remove dust, dirt, and debris prior to application. • Apply two coats of commercial-grade asphalt emulsion sealer with appropriate sand and latex additives for durability and skid resistance. • Sealer shall be applied using spray or squeegee methods for a uniform finish. • Allow proper drying time between coats and before reopening to vehicle traffic. Line Striping: • Re-stripe all existing pavement markings including parking stalls, directional arrows, handicap spaces, fire lanes, and no-parking zones. • All markings must conform to ADA standards and local codes. • Use high-quality, fast-drying traffic paint suitable for asphalt surfaces. • Striping shall be straight, uniform, and consistent in width and color.
