a) Vendor will prepare and deliver instruction and arrange all necessary required externships if applicable to students participating in HCDE’s Adult Ed Program for Career Pathways and Integrated Education and Training El Civics programs, which pairs a basic skills Adult Education and literacy instructor and a vocational instructor in the classroom to provide maximum support to those participants. b) Vendor will provide strong content of the training area that results in a State or industry-recognized certification and also includes job search techniques and career coaching. c) Vendor must provide intensive instruction in a classroom setting conducted by qualified instructors, using a variety of teaching strategies appropriate to adults with varying levels of academic preparation or English language proficiency. d) Vendor will work with the basic skills instructor to plan lessons which includes; making adjustments as needed depending on the student’s academic or English language proficiency, review progress, discuss challenges students may face, review portfolios, discuss individual’s readiness to work, assess student accomplishments, determine assessments as necessary and appropriate. e) Vendor is responsible for conducting background checks and any other requirements for students to complete the certification process.
