The work to be done on McCourtney Road, in General, consists of shoulder widening, installation of multiple drop inlets for existing culverts, removal of existing striping, 1.5” HMA overlay of roadway, installation of recessed pavement markers, installation of AC Dike, class 2 AB shoulder backing, sweeping, installation of new paint striping. Shoulder widening in general consists of the addition of 6ft of pavement beyond the existing edge of road resulting in an average 31ft overall width. Shoulder widening includes dirt work to fill roadside ditches and import of class 2 AB as necessary.
