TS-1 These specifications are prepared to return the foundation located at 4312 Florida Ave Kenner, LA 70065 to as near to its proper horizontal position as possible for the City of Kenner, Department of General Services. TS-2 Excavate around the perimeter of the house which will remove concrete in order to allow access under the slab. Tunneling under the house may be necessary. TS-3 Use 8” concrete blocks to drive 12 (twelve) new interlocking concrete pilings around the perimeter of the structure and 7 (seven) new interlocking concrete pilings under the interiors grade beams. These blocks will need to be interlocked by using a 5/8” bolt through a 3/4” hole. These blocks will need to be driven one on top of another until eight (8) tons of pressure is reached or until reaching the point of refusal. TS-4 If there are existing wood pilings these will need to be utilized in the installation of the above concrete pilings extending them to the desired pressure. When all the blocks have been driven 20- ton hydraulic jacks will need to be placed on top of these pilings. The structure will then need to be raised to as near as possible its highest point or in case of additions, its original position. Then, block up the house and remove all the jacks.
