PROJECT: The ROBINSON ROAD AREA ROADWAY AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS project involves the installation of approximately 3,150 LF of 12-in, 8-in, and 6-in dia. ductile iron watermain and appurtenances, 1,865 LF of 1” copper water service replacement, 600 LF of storm sewer improvements, 10 drainage structures, 500 LF of 6” sanitary sewer service replacement, 5,450 LF of roadway improvements which includes 13,650 SY of asphalt paving, 9,610 LF of concrete curb & gutter, 2,150 SY concrete and asphalt drive aprons, and 6,500 SF of concrete sidewalk. The project also includes lead water service replacement which involves the removal and replacement of domestic lead water services, from the property line to the existing residence. The total quantity of lead services is unknown. There are 16 known lead services in the project area and there could be as many as 30. The actual quantity will be determined upon completion of the interior inspections prior to the commencement of construction. The replacement of these services will also include interior residence restoration and asbestos abatement, if found.
