SUMMARY: Berkeley County Water & Sanitation is requesting proposals from qualified firms for the closure of approximately 8.5 acres of the Class 3 Municipal Solid Waste Landfill and installation of outfall structures for two (2) stormwater ponds at the Berkley County Landfill located at 2277 Highway 52 North, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. MEASUREMENT AND BASIS FOR PAYMENT The line items below provide further description of the Work listed in the Proposal Schedule. Some of the line items include approximate quantities as estimated by the ENGINEER. The CONTRACTOR shall not rely on the quantities given but shall instead estimate all quantities independently as required to complete the Proposal. The price associated with each Lump Sum item shall be the full compensation paid for the Work described, regardless of the ENGINEER’s or CONTRACTOR’s estimated quantity. For Lump Sum items, no claim shall be made by the CONTRACTOR for deviations between the CONTRACTOR's estimated quantity and the actual quantity required to complete the Work described
