1. This is an on-site assignment for dedicated mechanics. 2. Working hours for the full time Mechanic generally will be Monday through Thursday, 6am – 3pm and Fridays 6am – 10am (40 total hours). Working hours for the part time Mechanic will be Monday – Thursday 1pm – 6pm (20 total hours). 3. STC does observe paid holidays throughout the year and during those times campuses are closed. During these closures and other non-planned closures, dedicated mechanics will not report unless requested by the Facilities Director. 4. Provide all preventive Routine Service for STC’s HVAC systems at all five of its locations, following all manufacturers’ recommendations for proper preventive routine on the equipment. 5. Provide routine service and repairs at all five of STC’s locations, not to exceed 25K 6. Parts needed to complete all preventive maintenance, routine service, and repairs will be provided directly by STC unless otherwise requested by the STC Facilities Director. Should a request be made that the awarding supplier supply parts, the awarding supplier party will provide billing for those parts to STC. Awarding supplier and this cost will not exceed 25K. 7. Monitor inventory of HVAC and related supplies and request purchases as inventory becomes lower. Awarding contract will be reopen. 8. Open and close all work orders using STC’s CMMS system. 9. Work closely with STC’s Building Automation Services provider to optimize HVAC performance for maximum efficiency and energy savings.
