ConstrucAon AdministraAon & TesAng Phase Services: 1. Propose a tesng program that is considered adequate to render a professional opinion with respect to all issues detailed below and included in his/her report. The proposal will include total esmated cost of this program for Waterproofing and Envelope Tesng. 2. The building will be constructed as listed in the a:ached schedule and will include 3 total floors. 3. All envelope tesng will comply with local codes and regulaons. 4. Coordinate tesng and structures needed with local ulies and authories having jurisdicon as necessary and required by law. 5. Consultant shall review the final design documents (Construcon Documents) with respect to air and water intrusion, long-term quality of the installaon, product compability, details at intersecons of different material types, appropriate use of products, constructability, and potenal value engineering opons. Review shall cover all building envelope components including roofing, window systems, EIFS, stone, joint sealants, etc. 6. Consultant shall be available for phone conferences in addion to coordinaon meengs. 7. Consultant shall review the building envelope submi:al packages (product data, shop drawings, tesng data, samples, etc.). The review shall happen concurrently with the design team’s review. 8. Review RFIs and any product substuons that relate to the performance of the building envelope. 9. Consultant shall a:end a preconstrucon meeng, pre-installaon meengs for different types of air/vapor barrier, curtain wall, and other exterior wall material, sealant and roofing material and roofing penetraons. 10. Review the inial installaon of each type of air/vapor barrier, curtain wall system, other wall material, sealant and roofing including connecon details to adjacent material types. 11. Make periodic jobsite visits to monitor progress and perform inspecons as coordinated with contractor. Field reports shall be prepared and distributed to the project team following each visit. Maintain an issue log and follow up with the appropriate project team members unl the issue has been resolved.
