SCOPE OF WORK The selected firm will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Site Assessment and Data Collection: o Conduct field assessments to verify existing conditions and refine design approaches. o Review topographic, geotechnical, and hydrologic data. 2. Engineering Design and Plan Development: o Develop detailed engineering plans for the phased implementation of slope stabilization. o Prepare grading, drainage, and planting plans. o Design stormwater management systems, including rain gardens, berms, and retention structures. o Provide specifications for vegetation and erosion control measures. 3. Regulatory Compliance and Permitting Assistance: o Ensure designs comply with NYSDEC regulations for Coastal Erosion Hazard Areas. o Assist the Village in obtaining necessary permits and approvals. 4. Cost Estimation and Construction Planning: o Develop a comprehensive cost estimate for project implementation. o Provide recommendations for phasing and construction sequencing
