EST QTY 550 Single Stream Recycling from County Convenience Centers; 40 Yeard Receiver Box; Convenience Center Services: The Contractor shall provide undamaged and in good condition suitable forty (40) yard receiver (break-away) containers at each stationary compactor location within each Convenience Center site for the collection of single stream recyclable materials which may include: newspapers, magazines, glass (green, brown and clear), cans (tin, aluminum and steel), #1 plastic bottles, #2 & #3 plastic containers, mixed paper, books, and cardboard. There is not a fixed service schedule but rather an on-call schedule. The locations and service day(s) vary from week to week. On-call service is necessary during the weekdays due to variable volume. Typically, there are approximately eight (8) to eleven (11) pulls from the Convenience Centers during weekday operations. Since the sites operate on a seven (7) day schedule, it is mandatory that three (3) to four (4) locations receive service on Saturdays to accommodate Sunday's volume at the Convienience Centers.
