A. Assist in promoting, enhancing, and facilitating access to transportation services for rural residents, including integrating and coordinating services designed for individuals with disabilities and older adults. B. Support HOCTC staff in short-term management activities to plan and implement coordinated services funded by 5311 and 5310. C. Collaborate with Oneida County to create a centralized information hub for available mobility and transportation services. This hub will serve as a static repository for transit resources, passenger eligibility, service and cost information, and links to external resources. D. Assist in forming and managing a Regional Mobility Coordination Council. The "Coordination Council" members may include current HOCTC 5311 recipients, transportation providers, and HOCTC Transportation Planning Committee (TPC) members. In this support role, the mobility manager would collaborate with HOCTC staff in organizing and managing the committee’s initial setup, develop quarterly meeting agendas, provide presentations or speakers on national best practices in mobility management, and support collaboration among regional transit, transportation, and mobility providers in HOCTC.
