Twenty (20) Foot Jet Boat Sled Specifications The Contractor must provide one (1) twenty (20) foot Jet Boat Sled, new and unused (no demonstrators), from the current model year. The Jet Boat Sled must meet or exceed the specifications below. The Contractor must include with their bid a picture and written specifications of the boat, motor, and trailer they are bidding. Hull Specifications Material: Welded aluminum. Shape: Modified V with Jet tunnel-hull preferred or hull design for shallow water operations. Measurements: Classification: Twenty (20) feet; Beam: Between eighty (80) and ninety-five (95) inches; Bottom Thickness: Minimum zero point one nine (0.190) inches; Side Thickness: Minimum zero point one six (0.160) inches; Transom Height: Minimum twenty (20) inches (thickness and height must be appropriate for attached outboard motor) full width self bailing transom shelf; and Side Height: Between twenty-eight (28) and thirty-two (32) inches. Electrical Systems and Instruments Auxiliary power outlet – twelve (12) volt, installed in or near the instrument panel; Full navigation lights and signal equipment (USCG compliant); Tachometer with hours and a Fuel Gauge mounted near the operator; GPS and CHIRP Depth Finder mounted near the operator. Fuel and Bilge Minimum thirty (30) gallon built-in gasoline fuel tank. High flow bilge pump with a minimum flow rate of 2000 gallons per hour (gph), with a float switch. Deck and Storage Features Transom saver; Welded starboard, port, and bow cleats; Docking Bumpers; Welded aluminum swim platform on starboard side with welded aluminum foldable ladder. Flat, gripping surface work floor, diamond plate preferred; Three (3) movable mid-back marine seats with swivel bases; USCG approved Marine fire extinguisher, minimum size 5-B; Full boat storage cover; and River style anchor and rope anchor line. Motor Specifications The Contractor’s Jet Boat must have one (1) motor, new and unused, from the current model year. The motor must be fully operational and installed on the boat prior to delivery. Horsepower Range: One-hundred (100) to one-hundred fifty (150) with a twenty (20) inch shaft size appropriate to the hull specifications. Four (4) stroke attached outboard jet drive with tiller handle. Trailer Specifications The Contractor must provide one (1) boat trailer (EZ-Loader or equivalent), new and unused, and sized for the dimensions of the quoted boat. Tandem axle; Galvanized; Bunk Style; Electric Brakes; LED and DOT-compliant lighting; Mounted, full-sized road-ready spare tire matching the trailer tire size and load rating with matching full-size wheel rim; License plate holder; and Bow winch with safety chain.
