The district requires a piano tuner to tune their pianos and perform necessary minor repairs as identified by the music teachers, or by the piano tuner in the course of tuning the pianos. The district will provide an annual piano tuning calendar. QUALIFICATIONS: The district requires that two references be submitted; at least one must be from a current employee(s) of area school districts. The district requires that piano tuning will be done to the satisfaction of the teacher and that the minor repairs will be guaranteed for a period of one (1) year. The district recommends that any bidding tuners use a professional tuning device such as a Yamaha Tuning Scope or Accu Tuner. EXPECTATIONS: The district expects the following: Approximately 24 pianos will be tuned beginning Monday, August 11th with completion before Labor Day. Approximately 40 piano tunings will occur between Friday, October 24th and Wednesday, March 4th, as reflected in the piano tuning calendar. Approximately 16 pianos will be tuned between Monday, April 20th and Monday, May 11th, as reflected in the piano tuning calendar. The quote will be a firm cost for the period July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026.
