The purpose of this RFQ is to secure Electronic Consultation (eConsult) services allowing consultation between Physicians and Nurse Practitioners of the County Health Departments and eConsult Specialists including but not limited to, the following fields: Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynecology, Otolaryngology, Pain Management, Pulmonary, Rheumatology, and Wound Care Specialist. The uninsured patients cared for in the State’s Safety Net clinics do not have access to specialty care. In hopes of closing that gap, the State is soliciting bids for an electronic platform that gives our primary care providers access to specialists. This service will allow our providers to optimize the care that they provide to this vulnerable population.
