The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Removal of 100% of the existing wood decking, including removal of existing edge angles on steel span for re-installation. 2. Removal of portion of wooden ramp at both ends of the bridge to accommodate replacement with a new slab on grade. 3. Wood structural framing reinforcing/repairs, and new wood elements as shown on drawings. 4. Steel reinforcing/repairs, and new steel elements as shown on drawings. 5. Installation of new treated wood decking entire bridge, including reinstallation of salvaged edge angles on steel span. 6. Installation of new concrete approach slabs at both ends of bridge, including excavation and subbase material. 7. Installation of new stainless steel cable guardrail system on steel span. 8. Installation of new plastic (aka composite) guardrail system on wooden spans and along new slab areas. 9. Cut/patch asphalt pavement as required. 10. Site restoration, including topsoil and seeding all ground disturbed by the work.
